A client in Charlotte, NC is looking a BI Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities of this individual are shown below:
Responsible for administering, supporting, monitoring, and tuning the Power BI reporting environment
Design, extend, and enhance Power BI data models and development of new cubes
Designing and developing advanced multidimensional and tabular SSAS models based on business requirements.
Leading efforts to design and implement efficient and scalable data models using SSAS multidimensional and tabular models.
Optimizing cube performance by fine-tuning measures, aggregations, partitions, and processing strategies.
Develop, test, and deploy DAX-based scripts, queries, and functions in Power BI
Creating and optimizing complex DAX expressions for tabular models to meet analytical needs.
Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
Works closely with Power BI report users to tune and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
Serves as Best Practices resource for Power BI initiatives in the organization.
Conducts training and user-group sessions on Power BI.
Acts as the escalation point for Power BI-related issues.
Creating comprehensive documentation for SSAS models, DAX expressions, Power BI reports, and Paginated Reports to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Mentoring and guiding junior team members on SSAS, DAX, Power BI, and Paginated Reports development best practices.
