Insight Global is looking for a Thin Film Process Engineer to join the Engineering team of a cutting edge Fab in Chandler, AZ. This Engineer is primarily responsible for owning the deposition process but will also need to be flexible to support other processes within the high volume manufacturing facility. This individual is also responsible for identifying and reducing sources of variation, implementing zero defect processes, reducing defectivity, defining tool qualification procedures, improving tool utilization and availability, reducing cycle time, identifying and qualifying new tools, and supporting development or transfer activities.
Key Job Functions:
· Improving tool utilization and availability
· Supporting process development activities
· Process development and optimization
· Developing and writing specifications
· Reducing overall cost by improving tool performance and reducing scrap
· Developing and writing standard work procedures and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAP)
· Implementation of process SPC using Six-Sigma statistical methodology
· Working with manufacturing and industrial engineering for capacity planning and modeling
· Participating in and/or leading cross-functional and lean activity teams
· Sourcing and process releasing new equipment
· Identification and reduction of recurrent machine faults
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000

· 5+ years of experience in thin films process engineering, specifically in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
· Direct experience with chemical vapor deposition preferably SACVD, PECVD, or APCVD
· Experience and ability to support other processes within the fab on an as needed basis
· Bachelors Degree in related engineering field
