An employer is seeking an Implementation Specialist in the Tempe, AZ area. Responsibilities include:
· Responsible for the successful client on-boarding to include client implementation of the various components of a client through the effective execution of the methodology using solid functional and technical knowledge and skills.
· Perform employee data conversion services for new accounts through direct contact with client and assigned project manager using web-based, PC, and mainframe utilities.
· Problem solving with project managers and clients in area of new client set ups.
· Provides support and makes recommendations as well as implement solutions by utilizing extensive knowledge of company business rules and systems.
· Responsible for the continued building of a successful business relationship/partnership with clients and Project Managers.
· Assist client through system log in and help guide client through the implementation process. Walk client through entering, submitting, and reviewing their first and second payroll 1:1.
· Reviews client's current payroll set up and then conducts in-depth analysis and consultation with client to better understand their set up and ensure they are compliant based on basic FLSA guidelines. (ie - if a client has all employees coded as salary/exempt, review the job titles and dig deeper with the client to understand better the nature of their work to ensure that the coding is correct)
· Identify if the client has any special calculations configured into their payroll and apply basic fundamental payroll & FLSA guidelines such as OT calculations or tip credits.
· Identify any areas in which the client's payroll set up may be questionable and use independent judgement to make recommendations to the client in accordance with payroll and FLSA guidelines (ie - apartment complex adding in rent dollars as part of their employees pay to keep them above minimum wage).
