Insight Global is looking for a traveling Field Service Engineer to join a leading semiconductor client in the Chandler Arizona area. An ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, has a positive attitude, is a team player, and can support our systems at the customer site in a professional manner. The FSE will perform engineering and technical activities, while utilizing company's R&D teams to direct technology development of new products. The FSE will be responsible for trouble shooting equipment, communicating any problems to the division, quantifying the problem and formulating a clear solution to headquarters. Additionally, the FSE will support to equipment installations, add-ons, and upgrades and will maintain proper reporting methods for all activities of customer support. The FSE will maintain inventory and ensure proper level of stock is available at any given time. They will produce a weekly report on assigned customers/systems covering: system's status, pare to chart, forwarding of all FSRs, customer's relevant information, sales support issues, and inventory consumption and levels (monthly). This FSE will play a key role in collaborating with the sales and customer on-site evaluations and will provide technical insight to the sales team.

- Minimum BS in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Military or technical experience will be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field working with multi-discipline semiconductor manufacturing equipment,
- Open to people outside of semi as long as they have strong optics experience
- Knowledge in optics, GUI SW design, and mechanical components
- Ability to travel US and Internationally
- KLA experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Working knowledge of integration with different equipment platforms, communication protocols such as SECS/ HSMS
- KLA experience
