Overview:
This is a highly visible role, working alongside company leaders as the Capital Governance and Reporting SME for our major capital projects across EUSA. This role is a uniquely engineered role, combining financial capital governance, compliance, and project management. This person will have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement their very own processes, procedures, and tools for capital governance, develop and train their very own team, and shine when presenting leadership and stakeholders with their very own successes in capital results.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and review Capital Governance & Reporting processes to ensure compliance to policies, standards, regulatory requirements and ensure mitigation of risks.
* Provide updated guidance and applicable training to Project Managers on a periodic basis.
* Establish, monitor, measure and report regularly on financial performance metrics specifically related to capital project delivery, governance and reporting.
* Lead the annual Post Implementation Review process and submission for EUSA, facilitate periodic capital meetings (including CIMC and FRC), and leading other ad-hoc capital initiatives (as requested by EUSA Leadership).
* Plan and lead the consolidation of all capital inputs for the annual budgeting, forecasting and long term planning processes, along with the capital portions of the rate case applications and regulatory compliance filings e.g. Annual Reports.
* Enhance on-going effective positioning and appropriate relationships between the Capital Governance & Reporting function and other departments within EUSA, and in the rest of EUI.
* In coordination with OPM initiatives, develops, enhances and maintains the processes and systems necessary to develop and maintain strong capital programs and appropriate reporting (SharePoint, Oracle Projects, Capex DB, etc.).
