The Senior Fire Suppression Technician oversees and serves various types of fire suppression systems and auxiliary components such as fire water tanks, Kitchen Hood systems, PIVs, Tampers/ Flow switches, fire pumps, hydrants, dry, pre-action, wet, deluge, clean agent, foam, handheld and wheeled fire extinguisher units. This role will inspect, test, oversee repairs by working with trade partners, and maintain equipment and systems. Assist engineering with development of Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (FITM) procedures, in field QA, logistics and support.
* Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace
* Reviews and updates the status of fire suppression systems and auxiliary components
* Identifies, reports and corrects any impairments
* Order parts and material needed to remediate deficiencies, requests and compares price proposals
* Coordinates scheduled inspection frequencies, preventive and emergency repairs of Fire Suppression systems
* Submits and drafts documented reports, assist lists and standard operating procedures regarding fire suppression systems and auxiliary components while noting discrepancies, system impairments, and provide recommendations
* Must have the ability or familiarity to interface with various Fire Life Safety Systems (FLS)

* Fire related NICET certifications, International Code Council (ICC) Fire related certifications and NFPA certification(s) is preferred
* Technical College or Trade Program is preferred
* Knowledge of City of Phoenix Adopted Codes and Standards such as Fire Code, and NFPA standards is preferred
