Job Description

Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a IT Security Engineer III for a client in the Health and Wellness Industry here in Phoenix, AZ. This role is onsite -- 3x a week Wed-Fri and onsite for the first month. This role will own everything from Infrastructure, Network, Firewall and Cloud Support (Not Web or pen test). This is the teams senior position and you will be responsible for security tools stack. You are entrusted to keep our security position current, everywhere, and configured correctly and own and drive security projects from inception to completion, working with the rest of the security team to help them learn and grow. To succeed in this position, you must have a proven history in IT Security best practices, security tools, application security, and cloud and on-premises infrastructure.



What you'll do



You own the security stack (SIEM/EDR/NDR/VM/WAF/firewalls/email security/IAM/etc.) and security architecture within security leadership objectives.

You will drive our vulnerability and incident management to meet security policy requirements.

Provide services to internal team members to assist with issues related to security.

Drive the creation, prioritization, and execution of security projects in alignment with leadership.

Ensure all work is documented in the proper location.

You create, review, and keep security policies and procedures current.

Perform audits/reviews and provide metrics and diagrams as directed.

Contribute to the development of internal security testing and monitoring.

Collaborate with IT and all other departments to assess, document, and address risk.

You are naturally curious and continually educate yourself in the evolving IT security technologies and champion where Plexus can benefit from these new technologies.

Provide best practice security guidance for all departments as needed.

Participate in 24/7 on-call duties to support essential business clients and emergencies.

Collaborate with internal compliance to address compliance mandates through policy, process, and controls.

Required Skills & Experience

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience.

At least 7 years of IT Experience with 5 years being in IT Security

Strong hands on experience with security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography.

You have a CISSP certification, are in the process of getting one or will obtain within the first 6 months of hire

Experience with MS Windows and Linux Administration

IAM Experience with SSO, Okta/Auth0 or SAML

Experience with Rapid7 for Vulnerability Scanning and Management as well as Security Information and Event Management

Experience with Firewalls -- Palo Alto or similar and Web Application Firewalls

Experience with Endpoint Protection -- Crowdstrike or similar

Cloud Security Experience preferably with AWS and Snyk
