Our client is currently seeking a motivated Security Analyst to join their growing team working the overnight shift (THE SHIFT FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE SUNDAY-WEDNESDAY 4:00PM -2:00AM MST).
This analyst will be responsible for protecting our clients' systems from unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction. This candidate will also perform the following duties:
- Conduct vulnerability and networking scanning assessments to identify and remediate security risks
- Monitor network traffic for unusual or malicious activity and respond accordingly
- Investigate and analyze security events using SIEM, NIDS, and SOAR technologies
- Provide technical security advice to clients and help them understand the threats they face
- Provide regular reports to clients on their security posture and incidents
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- At least two years of experience in security analysis or a similar role
- Knowledge of security tools and best practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work night shifts
