Lab Technician

Insight Global is looking for a Lab Technician for Chandler, AZ.



Job description

* Microwave digestion and sample analysis by ICPMS.

* Prepare ceramic specimens and samples with a saw blade, grinding mount, and polishing units.

* SEM, XRF, XRD, density and physical measurements of solid ceramic parts.

* Data entry into a LIMS system.

* Analyze samples by the use of a scanning electron microscope.

* Help manage sample throughput to improve turnaround time.

* Carrying out routine tasks and any non-routine task deemed necessary by the lab manager.

* Weekly lab cleaning and weakly PPE validation checks.

Key Requirements

* laboratory experience highly preferred. Degree in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Geology, Physics, or material science preferred.

* Working knowledge of excel and word.

* Following strict safety protocols and proper use of PPE and SDS records.

* 12 month contract and 3 month contract available.
