Job Description

What to Expect in the Role:

Essential Duties --

Collaborate with product managers and developers to define user requirements and design solutions that meet business goals and user needs.

Create interactive wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather user feedback to make informed design decisions.

Ensure designs are user-centered, intuitive, and accessible, considering best practices for usability and responsive design.

Develop UI mockups that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs.

Translate visual designs into comprehensive design specifications for seamless implementation by developers.

Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)

Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

Work within a design system to adhere to brand standards for fonts, colors and image requirements.

Design prototypes in Adobe XD and/or Figma

Work in an agile environment, adapt to changing requirements, and maintain a strong commitment to project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

* 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer

o Able to showcase a strong portfolio of design work

* Advanced-level understanding of designing for web, mobile, and other platforms

* Strong technical aptitude

o Ability to work closely with technical partners and leaders that range in technical ability/knowledge

o Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability best practices

* Keen attention to detail, strong eye for detail and design aesthetics
