Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of PMO (Project Management Office) with a specialization in IT projects, software, and product development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing project management practices within the clients organization, ensuring that our IT projects and product development initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Provide regular, transparent communication on project status to stakeholders, including executives. Prepare and present detailed project reports, metrics, and dashboards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO, driving efficiency and effectiveness by managing vendor relationships and contracts related to software and product development. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business goals.

*Some travel is required for this opportunity.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of proven experience in IT project management, software development, and product management.

- Strong experience in JIRA, a project management tool to create, track, tasks, bugs, and create user stories and create customizable dashboards

- Experience working with FIGMA to work in cloud-based designs and prototypes for UI and UX web design, mobile applications, and product design.

- Experience in software development

- In-depth knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Proficiency with project management tools and software.

- Track record of successfully managing complex IT projects and driving positive outcomes.

- Define and manage the IT project and product development portfolio.

- Prioritize projects based on business value, resource availability, and strategic alignment.

- Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.

- Ensure adherence to project management processes and governance frameworks.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Master degree

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.

- Healthcare or pharmacy experience
