A client in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Collection Agent to join their team. This team is responsible to collect funds from delinquent accounts. The money given to members are credit cards loans, home equity lines of credit, savings accounts that are over drawn, etc. Responsibilities of this individual are shown below:
Will conduct Inbound and Outbound calls and will speak with about 32 members per day
Will understand what the member's needs are and provide solutions to help improve the member's financial security
Contacting members by telephone to negotiate debt recovery
Negotiate settlements to receive payment on percentages of loans
1+ year of experience of call center / customer support experience with college education, OR 2+ years of experience of call center experience with no education
Experience working in a Collections Call Center OR experience in the banking or the financial industry with an understanding of collections policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be comfortable in heavy phone support role
Must be reliable and available to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ
Must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month
