Job Description
A client in Scottsdale is looking to add an additional validation engineer due to company growth. In this role, you'll aid in ensuring every product and system is evaluated, test, and validated to both internal and customer requirements. Through collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Supply Chain to improve procedures for each line of product. Daily responsibilities include developing and executing validation test plans, with an emphasis on repeat-ability and accuracy of testing. Someone would excel in this role that has a background in hardware and electrical testing that has exposure to firmware testing.
Day-to-Day:
Coordinate the implementation or scheduling of validation testing with affected departments and personnel.
Direct validation activities, such as protocol creation or testing.
Conduct audits of validation or performance qualification processes to ensure compliance with internal or regulatory requirements.
Prepare validation or performance qualification protocols for new or modified manufacturing processes, systems, or equipment for production of pharmaceuticals, electronics, or other products.
Design validation study features, such as sampling, testing, or analytical methodologies.
Recommend resolution of identified deviations from established product or process standards.
Prepare detailed reports or design statements, based on results of validation and qualification tests or reviews of procedures and protocols.
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hardware testing
1+ years of firmware or software testing
Strong knowledge of writing and planning test cases
Experience with Benchtop testing
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Automation Experience
EMI knowledge (electromagnetic interference)
Familiarity with bug and test tracking suites (Jira, Zephyr, TM4J)
