An employer is looking for a Payroll Implementation Specialist in the Tempe, AZ area. Responsibilities include:
* Working on a number of clients on backlog to implement and get entered into the system
* Reach out to payroll personnel on the client end in order to obtain specific information if missing in order to correctly implement
* Implement solutions to non-complex clients, following internal guidelines, and in accordance with client expectations
* Ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely solution delivery within client-defined timeliness
* Review orders for accuracy and then implement the solution in a very prescribed manner according to guidelines and training
* Work under direct supervision to resolve issues and provide solutions
* Remain engaged with client throughout implementation, until client is successfully running
* Interact/collaborate with internal associates in various departments as needed in order to successfully complete the job
* Exchange routine information with members of client project team, including priorities, timeliness and issues as they arise
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
* Experience working for a PEO or running projects in a PEO
* Proficiency in MS Excel- Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
* 1 to 3 years of experience working in a client service/customer service environment or systems integration environment
o Service background/ Strong client relationship skills
* Familiar with SAAS products
* Emotional intelligence/ Situational intelligence
o Is able to detect if someone is confused or doesn't understand something on the other end of the telephone
o Be able to ask the right questions in order to find out how to help the client best
o Someone who is able to adjust their communication style to adapt to their target audience
* Strong attention to detail- a lot of data entry involved with implementing client information
* High level of organization
* Truly able to multitask in a high urgency environment with competing priorities, not just say that they are a multitasker
* Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards
* Excellent analytical skills and time management skills
* Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations
* Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
* Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, then escalate to the appropriate level
