A large financial enterprise in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Backend Software Developer to join their Information Security organization. This team focuses on operational risk, protecting against internet attacks, risk assessments and detection. This team is in need of a Backend Engineer to be the jack of all trades for this group. You will be responsible for standard development stack, a little bit of UX work, but mostly web related applications. You will also work within API microservices and touch on Infrastructure principles such as Kubernetes, Open Source tools like Kafka, ElastiSearch, Kafka, etc. In this role, you will be working with a plethora of other developers, along with security engineers to understand how the enhancement of these applications can effect the team or propose risk.
-4-5+ years of Backend Software Development experience, preferably Java but open to Golang.
-Understanding of API Microservices and DevOps environments.
-Exposure to both UX and UI centric web-based applications.
-Skilled in working with Infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, Docker and Open Source tools.
-Great communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
