Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a roject Scheduler with strong expertise in Primavera P6 to support the successful delivery of complex capital and construction projects from initiation through closeout. The Project Scheduler will work closely with Project Managers, technical experts, and stakeholders to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. This role is responsible for schedule creation, updates, forecasting, progress reporting, critical path analysis, and identifying potential delays while supporting project teams with schedule optimization and recovery planning. The successful candidate will have experience managing schedules in a construction or utility environment and possess a strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a relevant technical diploma/certificate
- Minimum 4 years of project scheduling experience utilizing Primavera P6
- Experience creating, maintaining, updating, and distributing complex project schedules
- Strong knowledge of schedule management, critical path methodology (CPM), and milestone tracking
- Experience working with project codes, activity codes, user-defined fields, resource management, budgeted resources, and actual resources within Primavera P6
- Ability to coordinate schedules across multiple stakeholders, departments, and project teams
- Experience auditing schedule data and validating schedule accuracy and completeness
- Proven ability to identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities while providing recommendations to project teams
- Experience preparing project progress reports, scheduling metrics, and performance updates
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Thorough understanding of project management processes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting utility, power, transmission, distribution, or substation projects
- Experience working on construction projects within energized substations
