Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join one of Canada's leading employee-owned general contractors. This individual will be responsible for leading all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Acting as the operational leader on site, the Superintendent will oversee field staff, subcontractors, project schedules, safety programs, quality control, logistics, and client relationships throughout the full project lifecycle located in Red Deer, AB.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience working as a Superintendent for a large General Contractor
• Experience managing construction projects ranging from approximately $500K to $5M
• Proven ability to lead construction teams while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity targets
• Experience overseeing project execution including:
○ Site safety programs and inspections
○ Budget and schedule management
○ Subcontractor coordination
○ Quality control and project closeout activities
• Undergraduate degree
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Comfortable travelling
• Experience utilizing construction scheduling software such as:
○ Microsoft Project
○ Primavera P6
○ Procore Scheduling
○ Other industry-standard scheduling platforms
• Concrete construction experience
• Experience working on employee-owned construction organizations
• Understanding of apprenticeship development and workforce training programs
• Formal construction-related education, trade certification, or project management training
