Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to support a mining and mineral exploration company at their Yukon and Newfoundland camp sites on a 6 month contract. You will be responsible for overseeing field execution, coordinating reporting and data integrity, and maintaining a structured operating cadence across onsite activities. This role works closely with the Lead Operator and Lead Mechanic to ensure accurate capture of operational, maintenance, and downtime data while providing program-level oversight and communication into the Insight Global PM. The position follows a hybrid model, combining remote coordination with periodic onsite presence to support mobilization and ongoing execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day program execution across onsite operations, maintenance, and support roles.
- Coordinate and validate field-level capture of operational, maintenance, and downtime data to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program-level reporting and communication with the Insight Global PM.
- Establish and maintain a structured operating cadence, including routine status updates and performance visibility.
- Support onsite leadership (Lead Operator and Lead Mechanic) in aligning field execution with reporting requirements.
- Consolidate field inputs into actionable reporting to improve visibility into equipment performance, downtime, and operational trends.
- Identify and escalate performance gaps, operational risks, or coordination issues impacting site execution.
- Provide onsite support during mobilization and periodically throughout the engagement to reinforce alignment and consistency.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, site procedures, and operational standards across the workforce.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to maintenance tracking, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in program management, operations management, or field services leadership in industrial, mining, or heavy equipment environments.
- Experience working in remote, camp-based, or rotational environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations, asset tracking, or field service workflows.
- Experience working with reporting tools or maintenance tracking systems (asset tracking, downtime logging, etc.).
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive structured execution across field operations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with both field personnel and leadership.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support onsite execution and oversight.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or on-call schedules as required to support continuous operations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior experience supporting remote mining, drilling, or heavy equipment operations.
- Experience implementing or managing reporting frameworks for field operations (manual or digital tracking).
- Exposure to structured operating cadence models or program governance in field environments.
- First Aid / safety certifications.
- Project management certification or equivalent experience.
