Guidewire Developer - INTL LATAM

Insight Global is seeking a Guidewire Developer to support a major AI‑enabled transformation initiative at Sovereign General Insurance Company. This role will focus on integrating AI‑driven outputs directly into Guidewire systems to eliminate manual data entry and improve underwriting and claims workflows. Day‑to‑day, this resource will work closely with the a Project Manager, internal PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter teams, and a Guidewire Solution Architect to design and implement integrations between Guidewire components, particularly ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter. The developer will support API‑based integrations, participate in Agile delivery ceremonies, and contribute to a growing automation roadmap that will later expand further into PolicyCenter. This role is critical to ensuring AI summaries and insights are operationalised within Guidewire and usable by business teams in production environments. We are seeking an international resource based in LATAM to work closely with a team in Canada on mountain standard time. This is a fully remote 12 month engagement.

• 4+ years of hands‑on Guidewire development experience
• Strong experience with PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter (ClaimCenter strongly preferred)
• Proficiency with Gosu and Guidewire configuration/customisation
• Experience implementing integrations between Guidewire components
• Java development background
Strong English communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in Agile teams

• Experience with AI
Experience with REST API integrations and asynchronous integration patterns
