Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AI Developer to support an Insurance organizations enterprise AI initiatives focused on automating the ingestion, classification, extraction, and summarisation of unstructured insurance data. This resource will build and extend multi‑step AI workflows that process emails and large document attachments and integrate with downstream insurance systems. Day‑to‑day, this person will work closely with existing project developers to reuse established patterns and architectures, contribute to new AI use cases across underwriting and claims, and troubleshoot model latency and API performance issues. The role requires a strong software development foundation with hands‑on AI delivery experience, particularly within Azure‑based environments, and will play a key role in scaling AI capabilities while maintaining performance and reliability. We are seeking an international resource based in LATAM to work closely with a team in Canada on mountain standard time. This is a fully remote 12 month engagement.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of AI development experience
• 5 years of overall software development experience
• Strong Python and .NET development experience
• Experience designing multi‑step AI workflows
• Experience with Azure (AI services preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience with containerisation (OpenShift or Kubernetes required)
• SQL experience (any SQL platform)
• Strong troubleshooting and optimisation mindset
Fluent in English
