Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Director to support the engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple hyperscale, mission‑critical data center projects across the United States. This role oversees multiple Project Managers and Project Coordinators responsible for individual buildings, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives and client expectations. The Project Director serves as a key site‑level liaison with clients and contractors, reviews and approves major project deliverables such as schedules, forecasts, recovery plans, and change requests, and monitors performance across cost, schedule, quality, safety, and technical coordination.

Required Skills & Experience

20+ years of experience managing large-scale construction or industrial projects

10+ years of experience in Data Center or mission-critical facilities

Proven experience delivering complex projects with multiple contractors and overlapping scopes

Strong background in cost control, scheduling, contract management, and site leadership

Demonstrated ability to lead multiple project teams simultaneously

Prior experience delivering large-scale Data Center or mission-critical facilities is highly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP certification or equivalent project management credential

OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
