Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an IT Technician to join a leading construction company onsite at the Calgary office, 5 days a week. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role requiring adaptability, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Responsibilities include providing first-level support, managing 20–30 daily ServiceNow tickets, general IT-related queries and resolving hardware/software issues such as computer setups, boardroom AV, and Teams configurations. This is a 6-month contract with the intention to convert to full-time.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues, with a basic understanding of networking concepts (routers, switches, DNS).
• Experience in Windows environments, with experience setting up and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams and AV rooms
• Hardware experience with Apple products including iPhones and iPads (ios environment)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-service mindset, supporting users at all levels—including high-demand executives and office staff.
• Strong coordination skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to manage and resolve technical issues independently while coordinating with internal IT teams for escalation when necessary.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local project sites after training. Occasional travel across Alberta and Canada; company vehicles available.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience working within the construction or warehousing industry.
The CompTIA A+ certification or any other relevant certifications.
