Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Corrosion and Materials Engineer to support one of our oil and gas clients in ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of Shells upstream and downstream assets. You will work within the Mechanical discipline team, collaborating with Pipeline, Static Equipment, Inspection Engineers, and Production Chemists to define materials of construction, assess degradation mechanisms, and implement corrosion mitigation strategies. This role will be located on-site 5 days/week.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors or Masters degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
-Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Canada.
-3+ years of experience in corrosion engineering, preferably in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
-Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, materials science, and industry standards (e.g., NACE, API, ASME).
-Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
