Job Description

Insight Global is currently seeking a skilled IT/OT Field Tester to one of the largest oil and gas companies based out of Calgary. This role involves managing customer-facing testing activities for both front-end and back-end systems, including hardware machinery, front-end computers, and communication systems for heavy duty machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial background, particularly in operational technology, and will be responsible for writing and executing test plans. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience within field operations in the IT/OT space
Experience in managing front-end and back-end testing activities.
Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting hardware machinery.
Knowledge of front-end computer systems.
Understanding of software and systems that communicate between front-end and back-end.
Familiarity with collision awareness technologies.
Experience in an industrial setting, particularly with operational technology.
Ability to write and execute detailed test plans.
