Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Software Developer to join one of Canada's leading Airline companies on a 5-month contract, with a high potential to extend. This resource will join the airport platforms team, developing a new fare class program for the organization. The Intermediate Developer is responsible for designing and developing code, verifying, testing, documenting, amending, and refactoring moderately complex programs/scripts and integration software services that meet user needs following best-practice guidelines. This position is a fully remote role, however candidates must be able to work 9-4 MST hours.
Some day to day responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop clean, secure, and well-tested code with error handling
- Document system components, related interfaces and provide input into preparing release notes
- Coordinate building activities across systems undertakes and supports integration testing activities
- Work with operational partners to ensure the supportability of new features/products and to provide timely technical support and fixes to production applications
