GIS FME Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a skilled GIS FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) Specialist to join our team. As an FME Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration workflows using FME software. Your role will involve analyzing spatial data requirements, troubleshooting data interoperability issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data transformations. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in FME technology, GIS, and data mapping. This opportunity will be located in Calgary, AB 5 days/ week onsite.

*5+ years of experience in the GIS space

*Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.

*Proven experience in designing and implementing data integration workflows using FME.

*Strong knowledge of GIS concepts and spatial data formats.

*Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data interoperability issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

*Experience creating and maintaining documentation for FME workflows, configurations, and processes.

*Ability to provide technical support for FME-related issues and contribute to continuous process improvement.

*Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for automation and customization.

*Experience within the transportation or railway industry
