Senior Data Analyst

Insight Global is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join one of the worlds largest Oil & Gas companies on a 15 month contract (with high possibility of extension) sitting out of Calgary, AB. This resource will join the Information and Digital Technology group within the Canadian Integrated Gas line of business to support a minimum viable product within the "Gas Supply Plan" project (along with additional long term projects). This candidate will take part in interfacing with offshore teams and should have experience driving business requirements with stakeholders.

Must haves:

- 7+ years' experience as a Data Analyst

- Experience in Analysis Services & Data Visualization tools, specifically Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)

- Experience in Designing, Developing, Deploying and supporting Data models

- Experienced in building and optimizing complex queries. Highly experienced with data manipulation, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected data sets (e.g. SQL, Python, DAX, FME)

- Oil & Gas industry experience

- Strong communication skills; prior experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

- Local to Calgary; able to work in office Tuesday - Thursday

Plusses:

- Experience with SharePoint

- Experience with SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

- Experience with Microsoft data Stack (Microsoft Azure Data Lake, ADF, Azure DB)
