Job Description

The Scrum Master will drive the appropriate Agile methodology focused on consistent, quality delivery and driving continuous improvement of the teams. The approach focuses on teamwork and flexibility, with the goal of increasing efficiency.

* Support the business team to create clear goals and product backlog.

* Proactively identify impediments to the business team and appropriately resolve them.

* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and events including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

* Continuously refining and improving the quality of stories ensuring business value and acceptance criteria are clearly articulated.

* Assist the Business to prioritize stories by keeping the backlog groomed.

* Provide coaching and support to team members on agile practices, and mindsets.

* Manage resources, risk, quality, scope, and deliverables.

* Manage dependencies between teams and facilitate collaboration and common understanding with stakeholders.

* Track and ensure visibility of team metrics and progress of sprints in Jira.

* Accountable alongside the team for the achievement of release objectives and results that meet stakeholders' needs and expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

* Certified Scrum Master and 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.

* Strong business acumen with knowledge of agile principles.

* Experience with Jira or other tools utilized in an agile development environment.

* Working knowledge of lean principles and Agile at scale.

* Ability to facilitate group discussions and meetings with key stakeholders.

* Superior decision-making, consensus building and conflict resolution skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Good rapport with technical teams and ability to promote change and alignment among our teams.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills both in person and written.

* Knowledge of current and emerging agile industry trends and best practices and internal or external business issues to improve team efficiency.
