Remote Project Scheduler

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Project Scheduler to join our telecommunications client. This individual preferably sits in MST or PST time zones and must work Alaskan time zone 8:00-5:00 pm. This role supports Project Managers by coordinating project scheduling, project controls, progress tracking, resource management, and schedule status reporting. The position requires maintaining a detailed master schedule and associated sub‑project plans, including developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource loading, and defining task order and dependencies. As projects evolve, the role updates schedules with new information such as timeline shifts or delays, while staying informed of changing requirements. The specialist assists Project Managers by analyzing schedule impacts, identifying conflicts, and recommending corrective actions or alternative recovery strategies for slipped schedules. Responsibilities include monitoring actual work progress, recording deviations from planned work, and providing regular, accurate schedule updates for stakeholders.

2-3 years of experience as a Project Scheduler

Experience with Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera P6

Telecommunications industry experience

Lives in MST or PST time zone

High volume schedule creation experience
