Job Description
This Cyber Systems Engineer will support and maintain secure Windows and Linux-based environments in a closed-area DoD setting, ensuring critical systems remain operational and compliant with cybersecurity requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include administering VMware ESXi/vCenter infrastructure, managing LAN/WAN network connectivity, and troubleshooting system performance issues. The engineer will work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls, conduct system updates, and support accreditation activities. They will also help sustain virtualized environments and network infrastructure while supporting mission-critical operations for defense customers.

Required Skills & Experience
Secret Clearance
STEM Degree
Security+ or additional DoD 8570 Certification
Experience with VMWare ESXi, VMWare vCenter
Experience with LAN and WAN management
Strong systems administrator experience, specifically in Windows/Linux Operating Systems environments
Must be able to support an in-person, closed-area work environment 100% of the time
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Solaris, Unix, RHEL and Cisco Networks
Familiarity with CSM (Cyber Security Manager) systems
Experience working with cloud technologies and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud
