Job Description

-Perform receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections of machined parts.
-Set up, operate, and program CMMs to inspect parts and generate reports.
-Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and optical comparators.
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
-Inspect parts throughout the manufacturing process and identify quality concerns.
-Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR/AS9102).
-Review work orders, certifications, test reports, and other quality documentation.
-Document and report nonconforming materials; support corrective actions and root cause analysis.
-Assist with supplier quality activities, including inspections and corrective actions.
-Maintain calibration records and support quality audits.
-Track inspection results and quality metrics using Excel.
-Partner with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
-Support quality projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
-CMM operation experience required; programming experience preferred
-Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
-Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
-Understanding of machining and manufacturing processes
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Familiarity with ISO/AS quality standards and First Article Inspections (AS9102)
