Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Nondestructive Test Technician to join one of our large DOD clients in Huntsville, AL. This individual will be joining a team responsible for the NDE/NDT for their Air Dominance space. This role will be conducting procedure writings, inspection (Risk, Test, Evaluation) and investigations within the lab environment. Other responsibilities include;
• Apply nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methods/approaches, such as acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic principles, in performing complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
• Leads, coordinates, and conducts complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
• Generates test plans, identifies, and categorizes failure, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of complex issues with suppliers and customers.
• Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert.
Compensation:
$38/hr to $42/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g., computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA), Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics)
- Direct experience in NDE/NDT environments (military/enterprise)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection)
- Active / Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- Bachelors degree or better in an accredited course of study, in engineering, physics or chemistry
- ASNT Level 2 in multiple nondestructive evaluation processes (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection)
