Job Description
Quality & Compliance Oversight:
- Review contractor quality processes and work performance
- Ensure work meets contract requirements, drawings, and specifications
- Track deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
Document & Submittal Review:
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Provide written feedback and recommendations to the COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative)
Project Issue Analysis:
- Evaluate construction issues, delays, and risks
- Review claims and Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs)
- Determine responsibility and recommend next steps
Technical Evaluation:
- Interpret plans/specifications and assess construction methods/materials
- Ensure constructability and feasibility of designs
- Support design-build reviews (BCOES)
Reporting & Records:
- Review contractor work records and materials used
- Document findings and submit reports using Resident Management System (RMS)
Meetings & Coordination:
- Attend project meetings for the Redstone Arsenal program
- Collaborate with COR and stakeholders on project progress
Schedule Flexibility:
- Occasional nights, weekends, and holidays required

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• P.E. Licensed
• Minimum 10 years of experience in as electrical engineer on large complex multimillion dollar
DoD construction projects reviewing submittals, contractor questions, RFIs, and construction
inspection
• Experienced within the RMS (Resident Management System)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- ability to work the occasional night shift
- can work on site at Redstone
