Job Description
Support the procurement of HVAC equipment, components, and materials, including compressors, controls, ductwork, and related parts
Prepare, submit, and monitor purchase orders within ERP systems
Work directly with suppliers to confirm pricing, product availability, lead times, and delivery status
Assist with inventory tracking and replenishment activities to support demand planning
Follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery and help resolve backorders, shortages, or discrepancies
Evaluate and compare supplier pricing to support cost‑effective purchasing decisions
Maintain accurate purchasing data, records, and supporting documentation
Assist senior buyers with sourcing efforts and supplier negotiations
Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and field teams to ensure materials are available as needed
Contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the purchasing process

Required Skills & Experience
0–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or an administrative support role
Exposure to HVAC, construction, manufacturing, or industrial supplies is a plus
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred)
