Job Description

Act as final approver for all item/product master requests and changes, ensuring compliance with data standards and business rules
Own the overall quality, accuracy, and consistency of Item Master data
Lead, coach, and manage the Data Steward team, including workflow management, performance reviews, and SLA accountability
Define and drive data governance strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and policy standards
Establish and monitor KPIs for data quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction
Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders to support business operations
Ensure effective use of MDM/ERP systems (Oracle) to enforce governance and data controls

Required Skills & Experience

A minimum of five years’ experience working in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or overseeing enterprise data quality initiatives.
At least two years of demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring, or formally leading Data Analysts, Data Stewards, or related roles.
Must know how to utilize Oracle Fusion or SAP (Oracle Fusion preferred)
Strong practical experience managing Item or Product Master data within large-scale ERP or MDM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Informatica, Stibo, or similar systems.

Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline.
