Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a GIS Analyst in Birmingham, AL. This position will be responsible for using the client's Geographical Information System to support the organization as a part of Operation Services.
Key Duties:
• Editing of map features and its correlating attribute data in the GIS
• Distribute and updates maps for other departments
• Identifies missing or incorrect information on assets in GIS, Sharepoint, and Maximo
• Verify accuracy of data entered
Duties and Responsibilities
Editing of map features and its correlating attribute data in the GIS
Distribute and update the maps for other departments of the company as requested
Verify the accuracy of data entered and completes service workorders in a timely manner.
Identifies missing or incorrect information on assets in GIS, SharePoint and Maximo, researching and resolving these issues.
Research and process requests for service line abandonments.
Works with the GIS department to research and resolve issues with missing or inaccurately mapped services.
Works with Supervisor to complete data cleansing projects, maintenance projects, and data requests.
Support other departments data requests and special projects using GIS

Required Skills & Experience
Reliable and professional
Experience with data entry or data analysis
Around 1 year of experience within the GIS field, or a related degree (doesn't have to be completed)
able to go onsite in Birmingham (full for training, then hybrid)
Valid driver's license
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
GIS certificate
ESRI experience
ArcPro
