Job Description
A client in the Huntsville area is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. This person will be on a team of 4-5 other Electrical Engineers and will be supporting products in production as well as research and development for new products. In this role you will be interacting with customers, internal engineering teams, and external vendors to provide cradle to grave support of IRAD and prototyping efforts. You will be involved from concept to full production of these new products and will be responsible for leading this effort. This role does not have any direct reports but does require you to work in a team centered environment.

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
3+ years of experience supporting a defense product development company or OEM
Experience creating electrical schematics and drawings and following the product from concept to production
Experience working with production teams in a manufacturing environment
Experience leading projects
Solidworks Electrical experience
AutoCAD
Bachelor’s degree in engineering field
Eligible for US Security clearance (not required, but could be in the future)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with ASTM E1851-15, IEEE 299, MIL-STD-285, MIL-STD-188/125, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464
Hands on experience with lab tools: Oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
Master’s degree or PE License
SAP experience
