Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Junior Project Engineer. This person will support aerospace programs by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and program activities across cross‑functional teams. This role works closely with IPT Leads, Program Managers, and Engineering teams to help ensure program objectives related to schedule, technical performance, and customer requirements are achieved.

This position is ideal for an early‑career engineer looking to grow into project leadership or IPT leadership roles within aerospace or defense programs. This is an onsite position sitting in Huntsville, AL or Orange, VA.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace
• 5-6 years of experience with Project Engineering
• Experience working in an aerospace industry or OEM defense contractor
• Background with hardware testing - design and analysis
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Ability to hold an U.S Secret Clearance
