Job Description
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field installation activities, ensuring work is performed safely, meets quality standards, and aligns with project requirements. This role serves as the on‑site leader for installation teams and subcontractors, driving accurate reporting, quality control, coordination, and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Installation Reporting:
Ensure all installation progress is documented accurately on a daily basis within project tracking systems. Maintain up‑to‑date reporting to provide visibility into project status, support performance tracking, and enable proactive issue resolution.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control Oversight:
Review and update QA/QC plans on a weekly basis to reflect current installation progress, quality metrics, and identified deficiencies. Ensure corrective actions are documented, communicated, and executed in accordance with project and client standards.
Field Inspections:
Conduct routine visible work inspections to verify installations meet project specifications, safety requirements, and quality expectations. Identify risks, deficiencies, or non‑conforming work and address issues promptly to prevent rework or delays.
Pre‑Functional Testing Review:
Review pre‑functional testing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with system requirements prior to formal testing and commissioning. Confirm installations meet readiness criteria.
Onboarding & Safety Leadership:
Lead onboarding for new team members and subcontractors, ensuring personnel are trained on project scope, safety protocols, and site‑specific requirements. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and procedures.
Partner & Subcontractor Coordination:
Facilitate weekly coordination meetings with project partners and subcontractors to align on execution plans. Review upcoming work, labor and resource needs, procurement timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies to support seamless project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
NICET Level II certification or higher (required)
Proven experience supervising field installation or construction activities
Strong understanding of quality control, inspections, and documentation requirements
Experience leading on‑site teams and coordinating subcontractors
Familiarity with installation reporting, tracking systems, and QA/QC processes
Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
Ability to identify field issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate risks as needed
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment
