Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced Cable Harness Braider. This person will be responsible for operating braiding machinery to apply protective and functional nylon braid over cable and wire harness assemblies. This role requires hands-on experience with machine braiding equipment, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of nylon materials to ensure high-quality, durable harnesses that meet customer and industry specifications. A background with cable assembly and aerospace/defense manufacturing is essential for this role.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Background in cable assembly and machine braiding
• Knowledge of IPC 610 and IPC 620
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Background with setting up, operating, and monitoring cable braiding machines to apply nylon braid to wire and cable harnesses
• Ability to obtain an US Secret Clearance
