This position provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to Government personnel and performs advisory, analytical, and integration functions.

Required Skills & Experience

-Infrastructure Cabling Design and Engineering.
-The contractor shall engineer, design, and install the Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) telecommunications cabling and related cabling infrastructure within the DoD. -Infrastructure Engineering shall support the following policies and technologies: Experience designing and implementing ISP and/or OSP cabling and cabling infrastructure, Ability to develop and interpret engineering packages, Ability to produce materials list, Experience certifying fiber and copper systems, Experience working in data centers and server farms, Experience working in outside cable plant environments, Experience supporting Intelligence Community Directive - ICD 705 - Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) requirements, Experience in supporting/designing multi-level security solutions, Experience with strategic planning, Demonstrate a strong understanding of ANSI, TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE as they apply to the installation of OSI Layer 1 infrastructure, Familiar with and ability to apply the National Electrical Code (NEC), Familiar with and ability to apply the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).
