Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a motivated Electronics Manufacturing Specialist with experience developing and implementing production processes in a prototyping and low-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to produce electrical and mechanical hardware solutions for commercial, aerospace, and defense applications. Responsibilities include technical estimating, manufacturing methods, production planning, resource scheduling, material flow, and process optimization. The ideal candidate can interpret technical drawings, build Bills of Materials, work within an ERP/MES environment, and operate independently in a dynamic setting.

As an Electronics Manufacturing Specialist your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement production processes for prototyping and low-volume manufacturing.

Perform technical estimating and create manufacturing process plans.

Manage tactical production planning, resource scheduling, and material flow.

Create Bills of Materials from technical drawings or CAD models.

Ensure process control, optimization, and adherence to quality standards.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Utilize ERP/MES systems for planning, tracking, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related STEM field and 5+ years of related experience. OR Training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school in a related field +8 years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment, OR High school diploma +11 years of related experience

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Demonstrated knowledge of production planning and quality control in an AS9100 environment.

Proficiency with MS Excel, ERP systems, and MES systems.

Ability to read to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions for electronic assemblies, including cable harnesses, printed circuit board assemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Experience in Electronics Manufacturing

Experience estimating manufacturing projects.

Experience developing manufacturing methods and process plans.

Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint.

Inventory management experience.

Experience with MES systems such as ECI M1 or similar.

Project management and project planning experience.

Experience supporting proposal efforts, including material and labor estimating.

Working knowledge of creating reports and dashboards in Power BI.
