Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our fabrication and construction operations in Tuscaloosa. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, scheduling, and field execution within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing fabrication and construction projects.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor project progress, update schedules, and report on key milestones.
Support quality control and safety compliance across job sites.
Help manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Maintain documentation including RFIs, change orders, and daily reports.
Participate in client meetings and internal reviews to track deliverables and resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience
Associate's/ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
Willingness to work 50 hours per week and occasionally visit job sites.
