Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrician specializing in low voltage installations for Building Automation Systems (BAS) control systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in running conduit, pulling wire and terminating Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers, installing sensors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Current Transformers (CTs), valve actuators, and hanging electrical panels. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, adherence to the NEC, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

· Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company safety policies.
· Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems.
· Run and bend conduit (EMT and Rigid) to meet project specifications and local electrical codes.
· Pull and terminate wiring to DDC controllers, ensuring accurate connections and system functionality.
· Install and configure Current Transformers (CTs) for energy monitoring and BAS integration.
· Hang and secure electrical panels, ensuring proper alignment, mounting, and compliance with electrical codes.
· Run power from breaker panels to control panels, ensuring proper sizing, protection, and code compliance.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless system integration.
· Document work performed, including updates to as-built drawings and maintenance records.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in low voltage installations.
· A valid drivers license with a clean driving record
· Ability to pass a drug screen
· A clean background check - 7 years

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Valid electricians license or certification (state-specific, if applicable)
· Hands-on experience with DDC controllers, sensors, VFDs, CTs, valve actuators, and electrical panel installations in commercial or industrial settings a plus
· Certification in BAS or low voltage systems (e.g., Niagara, BACnet, Modbus, LON or similar) is a plus
