An employee is looking for a Depot Level Maintenance Technician to work onsite in Huntsville, AL. This resource will be responsible for the following
Clean, inspect, and detail pre-repair condition of all repairs.
Perform system and component failure analysis using validated diagnostic troubleshooting techniques.
Replace all non-conforming and preventive maintenance parts as needed.
Fully test and calibrate completed repairs, and provide comprehensive test data,
documentation, and service reporting.
Handle most record keeping functions for Return Authorizations, Service Quotes, and Service Orders.
Drive lean practices and continuous improvement events central to the service business.

Familiarity with any of the following: IPC/WHMA-A-620, MILDTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, and/or ANSI/ESD S20.20.
IPC A-610 Class 2 or Class 3 soldering certificate
Experience working with spacecraft, aircraft, rocket ordnance/rocket motors, and missile components all a plus.
Experience with assembling, repairing, and testing mechanical and electrical components and systems.
Ability to operate a Forklift, truck mounted crane, and other MHE associated equipment.
Experience in isolating and correcting malfunctions using automatic and semi-automatic program maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, and Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) as well as industry standard commercial off the shelf external test equipment.
Proficient in the use of a wide range of test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters.
Proficiency performing electrical system diagnostics and
troubleshooting to isolate and resolve root cause problems within a circuit card assembly (CCA) or electro-mechanical system.
Graduate of a commercial or military maintenance school or program
