Job Description
An Insight Global customer is looking to hire a Plant Manager for a high-tech manufacturing facility in the greater Huntsville, AL area. This individual will be responsible for setting and achieving plant production, budget, cost-cutting, labor and business goals. The ideal individual for this role will have previous experience in large, matrixed and global organizations and previously been successful in rallying multiple departments to run at the same goals. The plant is large with about 1,000 employees total so experience as a leader in a similar sized and high-tech facility is critical. We can offer a salary of $180k to $220k for this role and relocation and bonus packages are also offered. Exact compensation may change based on years of experience and education levels.

Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required preferably in an engineering, operations or business discipline.
- At least 10 years of plant management experience - leading high-tech manufacturing operations, production schedules/controls, engineering, P+L, and facilities/maintenance.
- At least 5 years working in a large, global, matrixed organization.
- Strong problem solving skills - succinct and decisive in decision making.
- Experienced in plant leadership in a 24/7, high-pressure manufacturing environment.
- Full P+L experience including a proven track record of cost-reductions and efficiency improvements.
- Charismatic leadership style - this is a demanding role that will require a can-do, high energy personality to rally the plant to be successful.
