Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a PNT/Alt PNT/NAVWAR Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting a newly established cross-functional team dedicated to accelerating the integration of advanced sensing capabilities. This team focuses on defining requirements that leverage data, enhance decision speed, facilitate informed maneuver, and increase effectiveness. Headquartered in Adelphi, Maryland, this innovative team is at the forefront of enabling leaders through comprehensive and integrated sensing across all domains, thereby enhancing understanding and decision-making for future operations. Responsibilities include analyzing and presenting project status, long-range plans, and program accomplishments in relation to program objectives, budgetary constraints, schedules, technical requirements, and risk; assessing affordability and planning for unique technologies, modifications, and integration guidance for design reviews, milestone reviews, program reviews, program strategy evolution, modernization reviews, and system-specific reviews; collaborating with technology leads and program managers to develop technical assessments, briefings, inputs, and recommendations; and developing technical inputs and integration guidance across Multi-Sensor Dominance and Operational Enablers lines of effort within the team

Required Skills & Experience

Must have an active/current TS clearance with the ability to SCI.
Must have a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering degree.
Must have Electronics/Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering experience.
Must have Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) experience.
Must have Optics/Imagery experience.
Must have experience with Counter-Command and Control, Communications, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (C-C5ISRT)-related capabilities and technologies.
Must have experience with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), including Electro-Optical (EO), Infrared (IR), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Multi/Hyper-Spectral Imagery (MSI/HSI).
Must have expertise in multiple domains, including terrestrial, airborne, high-altitude, and space Command and Control (C2) network architectures.
Working knowledge of GOAT and/or other PNT modeling software.
Working knowledge of PNT solutions that are fused and/or coupled with other sources (external and organic to the platform and receiver).
Familiarity with GPS modernization, including the Military GPS User Equipment using M code.
Familiarity with GNSS constellations and Alt PNT concepts, including Signals of Opportunity, visual navigation, and satellite navigation using LEO and GEO orbits.
Familiarity with PNT antenna technologies, including fixed and controlled radiation pattern antennas (FRPA and CRPA).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with DoD and Army Science and Technology (S&T) development, Acquisition/Program Office, and Requirements processes, funding sources, and organizations.
Prior Military/Operational Experience in one or more of these areas.
