An operations assistant provides administrative support to an organization's senior staff and executives. Their responsibilities include:
Data collection and reporting: Collecting, formatting, and editing data for management reports
Scheduling: Scheduling meetings, events, and information sessions
Communication: Coordinating office communications, communicating with customers and vendors, and answering questions about operations
Document management: Organizing, filing, and storing documents and reports
Budgeting: Tracking budgets, developing strategies for enhancing business processes, and participating in developing and monitoring grants
Purchasing: Purchasing office supplies, equipment, and services
