Job Description

Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Level 2 Radiographic Testing (RT) Technician:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced NDE Level 2 RT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic testing to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and structures. This role requires a thorough understanding of radiographic testing techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Conduct radiographic testing (RT) on various materials and structures to detect internal flaws and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Interpret and evaluate radiographic images to identify defects and anomalies.
Prepare and set up radiographic equipment, including X-ray and gamma-ray sources.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and equipment maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all testing procedures.
Collaborate with other NDE technicians and engineers to provide comprehensive inspection services.
Assist in the development and implementation of NDE procedures and techniques.
Provide training and guidance to Level 1 technicians and other team members as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

- Seven years of total experience as an NDE Level II-RT (film interpretation) with two of those years being in the last five years.
- Computer skills are a must (Microsoft Office).
- Individual will receive training on our web-based program.
Certification as an NDE Level 2 RT Technician in accordance with ASNT, ISO 9712, or equivalent standards.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiographic testing.
Strong knowledge of radiographic testing principles, techniques, and equipment.
Ability to interpret and evaluate radiographic images accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with digital radiography and advanced imaging techniques.
Additional certifications in other NDE methods (e.g., UT, MT, PT).
