Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a IT Network Engineer & Lab Support (level III) to be located in the Colorado Springs area. . Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers. Familiarity with network communication products, including routers, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS), and data encryption products. The candidate will be part of the Cyber and Platforms (CAP) information technology team on the program and assist senior system administrators and government network subject matter experts with the management and sustainment of network components supporting associated support networks.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors in STEM w/ 4+ years of applicable experience (4 more years in lieu of degree acceptable)
Secret clearance or higher
Experience with Juniper
Security+ or equivalent certification
Understanding network communication and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP) and IP network troubleshooting
Understanding of network testing methodologies using routers, switches, and firewalls
Knowledge of TCP/IP behavior, network communications, routing protocols, network traffic analysis

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in Network Management Systems (HP Network Node Manager, Solarwinds, and NAS/SAN technologies (NetApp or Gigastore)
Juniper or Cisco certifications

50-70/hr
